5 Things About FREE Grant Money That You Should Know

A "grant" is simply a lump sum of money that is awarded to an individual or an organization to fill a particular need or to fund a particular project. There are literally 1000s of active and legitimate grants programs working right now to distribute money in the U.S. for hundreds of different needs and purposes.

1. How can Free grant money actually be free?

Is there really such a thing as FREE money from your Federal, State or local governments? The answer is an unqualified and resounding YES! The US Government will hand out BILLIONS of dollars in free money this year, to businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals. But right now, I'll bet you're wondering - "okay ... what's the catch, and why is this money FREE?"

Well, there really isn't a "catch." Government grants are funded with your tax money and are distributed to stimulate the economy, create jobs, support other government programs, and increase the tax base. These grants are the Government's way of investing in America.

Private foundations are usually connected with large corporations and wealthy families (ie. Rockefeller, Ford, Carnegie.) They give away millions of dollars each year to increase their charitible donations and reduce the tax on their profits. It's as simple as that.

And the money is awarded weekly for hundreds of purposes ... to regular American citizens just like you and me.

2. So ... Exactly Who Can Qualify to Receive Grant Money?

Any United States citizen who is 18 years or older is automatically entitled to apply for and receive grant money from the government. This includes naturalized citizens, and in some cases, even foreign nationals who hold certain types of visa documents.

This means that grant awards are not limited only to the "head of household." In fact, any and all members of your family who are U.S. citizens and at least 18 years of age can apply for grants at any time.

Private foundations, on the other hand, set their own terms and requirements. Some foundations do not require U.S. citizenship to be eligible for grant awards.

3. Understand This ... I'm NOT Talking About Loans

Grant money is much easier to get.

NO Credit Check Required
NO Collateral or Security Deposit
NO Co-signers Needed
Bankruptcy - Bad Credit - Low Income - NO Problem!
And NO Repayment - Grant Money Is Yours To Keep!

I'm talking about free cash grants that are available right now to you and every U.S. citizen 18 years or older. Unlike a loan, you are not required to repay grant money. It's yours to keep.

In fact, you couldn't pay back the money if you wanted to! That would defeat the purpose of the grant program itself.

4. More than 1500 separate Government grant programs and thousands more wealthy Private Foundation grants are currently available to serve hundreds of needs and purposes.

Here is a listing of just a few that are available right now;

5. The Problem is ... Grant Programs Don't Advertise

Frankly, if they did, in no time they would be swamped with applications and a mountain of needless paperwork. So you must know where to look. And just finding the grant that's right for you can be a frustrating and time consuming hassle.

The U.S. Government alone has more than 1500 grant programs currently available! Private foundations (that are more likely to give grants for personal and individual needs) provide thousands more grant programs.

The bottom line, the money is out there and has to be given away. The key to receiving this free money from any source is knowing how and where to apply. You must know how to write a letter to the Grants committee and get them to read and select yours, there are some very important steps to that process. However if you prepare the paperwork correctly, and know where to find the information, FREE money can be yours in as little as 60 days.
